Me, Myself & Irene (2000)
Plot summary
Directed by: Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly
Starring: Jim Carrey, Renée Zellweger, Chris Cooper, Anthony Anderson, Mongo Brownlee
Genres: Comedy
Charlie (Carrey) is a Rhode Island state trooper with a split personality. He is otherwise mild-mannered and non confrontational until somebody or something pushes him a little too far. That's when his maniacal alter-ego, Hank, takes over. Charlie is assigned on a routine mission to return alleged fugitive Irene (Zellweger) back to upstate New York, but they wind up on the run from corrupt police officers. And their escape would be a lot simpler on everybody involved if Hank didn't keep stepping in at the most inopportune times.
Irene: So I smoked a little pot in college. What, is that a crime?
FBI Agent: Yeah.
Trivia: When Irene is looking out the window in the motel Charlie was staying, if you look at the room at the back wall, you'll notice a watermelon. This was from a previous uncut scene that wasn't deleted out.
Question: How come I never saw how Charlie's thumb got retrieved from the water? Is this another deleted scene or part of some director's cut?
