Continuity mistake: Kira, the men under Kira's pushing power and Agent Henry Carver are standing on the roof top. Carver told Kira that they were on the same side and he wanted her to march the men that were shooting at them off of the roof. Nick races to the roof top and Carver beats him and pushes him to jump off of the roof top. Nick turns around and punches Carver and steals the syringe. The men pushed by Kira move behind Kira while Nick tries to get her attention. Nick injects himself and collapses on the floor. Agent Henry Carver says "What a waste" and walks away with Kira. The men that were under Kira's mind control disappeared from behind her. (01:41:05 - 01:43:05)

Push is a Science Fiction Thriller about various mutants vs. The Division (government agents) fighting for an injection. Some scream loud, others alter chance, sniff out foes, are precognitive, control minds, etc. throughout the world. Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning must gain the injection if they're to save Dakota's mom. It's silly, to be honest.
Suggested correction: The two men behind her fall through the hole in the floor after Carver tells her to march them off the building. The movie shows them fall, leaving only the two men on the other side of her.
Nick Gant: You pushed me?
Kira Hudson: You don't like it? Push back.
Question: At the end of the movie we find out that it was really soy sauce that was injected into Nick's arm. Wouldn't injecting soy sauce directly into your blood stream still kill you, or at least have some sort of ill side effects?
Answer: Soy sauce is mostly soy protein and salt in water- it might raise your blood pressure for a while, but assuming you're in reasonably good health, and presuming it wasn't a ridiculously large amount, your liver will filter it out after a short while.
This is incorrect, there are several variables in this but given the syringe size I'm guessing that he injected approx 50ml. Now 50ml injected intravenously would almost certainly cause sepsis and he would die from septic shock within a day or so. The reason for this is that soy sauce is a fermented product full of several different types of bacteria in large quantities which would be quite friendly in the gut but disastrous in the blood stream. Also the sodium and yeasts and funghi in the sauce would not be good either. If however the injection was subcutaneous but not intravenous then it may not be fatal but it would certainly give him a very nasty infected cyst that would have the potential to be fatal if not treated correctly.
