Continuity mistake: When Azor is watching the city burn, footage from Quo Vadis is intercut, turning Atlantis into ancient Rome for several scenes. Both cities are scale models, but the Rome set has completely different buildings than those we've seen in the capital city of Atlantis. (01:24:30)

Continuity mistake: Everyone and everything Zaran shoots with the giant crystal weapon vaporizes into bright red light and then explodes. But when Zaran himself is hit with the beam, he becomes a skeleton instead of vaporizing, and doesn't explode. (01:27:00)

Continuity mistake: The shots are badly mismatched when Demetrius saves the elderly slave about to fall from the rope. Their arms and legs shift positions multiple times between takes.
