Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, the cast that Bella is wearing keeps changing lengths. first it's just a couple of centimetres below her knee, later it is almost 10 cm below her knee. (01:42:30)
Continuity mistake: During the hospital scene, when Edward is "sleeping," his head goes from leaning on one shoulder to suddenly on the other shoulder in the very next shot. In the top shot, there are 2 windows next to Edward's head, but the windows are not there in the next shot. Things on the table have moved too. (01:42:55)
Continuity mistake: When Edward and Bella are out in the parking lot at the prom where Jacob shows up, Edward's hair is styled a little over to the side, but when they go into the prom his hair is brushed up into a bouffant of sorts. (01:44:00)
Continuity mistake: At the prom Edward gives Bella a glass in her right hand, in the next shot beckons Bella to Eric and Angela with the right hand. When camera goes back the glass has vanished. (01:45:20)
Suggested correction: She was holding the glass with her left hand, which was out of the frame.
Continuity mistake: As Edward and Bella are dancing on the gazebo at prom, the other two couples leave the gazebo. The first couple who leave walk over to the stairs and start walking down them. In the next shot they're still walking to the stairs and then begin to descend them again. (01:46:00)
Continuity mistake: After Edward saves Bella from being crushed by the van, while he is holding her, Bella's hair is outside of her jacket covering up her hood. When the shot changes her hair is tucked beneath the jacket and the hood is visible. When the shot changes back, her hair is covering up her hood.
Continuity mistake: Edward drives past the waterfall before he and Bella arrive at the baseball field and park nearly on it. But the field "moves" so that they walk past the waterfall when they meet the other Cullens.
Continuity mistake: When Edward's "sleeping" in the hospital, look at the wall he is leaning against. In the closer shot the table on the left is part way across a window with a blind on it. In the wider shot this window's nowhere to be seen.
Continuity mistake: The A 1 bottle changes from label in to label out in the diner scene with Bella and her dad.
Continuity mistake: When Bella is at the salad bar in the lunchroom, she knocks over the apple and Edward catches it. In the next shot, neither Edward nor Bella have it.
Continuity mistake: It's nearing the end of the movie. Edward and Bella are dancing under the gazebo. Edward lifts Bella so she is dancing on his feet. The camera later pans onto both of their full bodies dancing. Bella's feet are not on Edward's and she is dancing just fine. It later pans onto both of their full bodies dancing. Bella is on Edward's feet again, dancing.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Bella is in Port Angeles trying to get away form the guys who are taunting her, in one shot, as she is walking through the parking lot, they show two guys walking up from behind her and the other two guys walking toward her. In the shot where the camera shows the two walking toward her, you can see two people dressed in black standing on the deck in the background, and it looks like they go in for a big kiss. The next time the deck in shown in the shot the two people are not there.
Continuity mistake: While Edward and Bella are talking on the school campus on the white bench, the school bell rings. The black boy and the white girl who are sitting behind Edward and Bella hear it and they walk away. But in the next close-up scene, they are still sitting and talking, and in the next shot, when Edward and Bella get up, they are gone again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene in the woods where Bella tells Edward she knows what he is: she drops her backpack by a tree, and in one shot you can see it, but the next you can't only because it's turned upside down so you can't see the red. But it's still there. And in other scene you can see it again, right side up.
Continuity mistake: When Bella and Edward are coming back from Port Angeles and see that their dads are still at the Police station, Edward starts to pull in and there's what might be an ambulance in the entrance. The next shot shows a semi-close-up of Bella asking Edward to pull in, which he does again, and this time there is no car in the entrance.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Edward goes back to the highway from rescuing Bella. We see he stops the car when he turns, when the camera changes we see the area around them moving but we never heard or see the car accelerate.
Suggested correction: This was another car, not Edward's car, silver too, but totally different.
Continuity mistake: When Edward is jumping from the first tree to the second tree Bella's hair is hanging loose, but halfway across the distance her hair is in a ponytail, and when they land on the other tree it is hanging loose again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at La Push, the initial shot of the van that Bella is sitting in is parked crooked. In the next shot it is parked perfectly between the lines.
Continuity mistake: In the ballet studio fight scene, Bella grasps an injured right leg with her left hand. When Bella is in the hospital, the cast is obviously on the left leg which is under the blanket-the silhouette of the leg is straight and much larger than the right leg, which is thinner, flexed and has skin exposed at an area which would have been covered had it been in a bandage or cast. But when she and Edward go to prom, the injured leg is again the right leg, which is in a cast.
Continuity mistake: In the scene right before Edward saves Bella from being crushed by the van, we see her truck parked straight in the parking space and closer to the curb. After Edward pushes her away and the van hits the rear of her truck, it is shown parked farther from the curb, and the back end which was just hit is moved out farther from the curb instead of closer.
