Continuity mistake: When Bella and Edward are coming back from Port Angeles and see that their dads are still at the Police station, Edward starts to pull in and there's what might be an ambulance in the entrance. The next shot shows a semi-close-up of Bella asking Edward to pull in, which he does again, and this time there is no car in the entrance.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Edward goes back to the highway from rescuing Bella. We see he stops the car when he turns, when the camera changes we see the area around them moving but we never heard or see the car accelerate.
Suggested correction: This was another car, not Edward's car, silver too, but totally different.
Factual error: In multiple scenes in the forest you can see Edward's "breath" - but being a vampire, he should be cold, hence his body should not be expelling water in his breath warm enough to condense into fog in the cold weather.
Visible crew/equipment: When Charlie takes Bella up to her bedroom at the beginning of the movie, you can see a black microphone wire running from Bella's jeans up her shirt.
Continuity mistake: When Edward is jumping from the first tree to the second tree Bella's hair is hanging loose, but halfway across the distance her hair is in a ponytail, and when they land on the other tree it is hanging loose again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at La Push, the initial shot of the van that Bella is sitting in is parked crooked. In the next shot it is parked perfectly between the lines.
Visible crew/equipment: When Edward and Bella are in the forest and they are talking about what Edward really is, there is a microphone in view at the top of the screen.
Continuity mistake: In the ballet studio fight scene, Bella grasps an injured right leg with her left hand. When Bella is in the hospital, the cast is obviously on the left leg which is under the blanket-the silhouette of the leg is straight and much larger than the right leg, which is thinner, flexed and has skin exposed at an area which would have been covered had it been in a bandage or cast. But when she and Edward go to prom, the injured leg is again the right leg, which is in a cast.
Continuity mistake: In the scene right before Edward saves Bella from being crushed by the van, we see her truck parked straight in the parking space and closer to the curb. After Edward pushes her away and the van hits the rear of her truck, it is shown parked farther from the curb, and the back end which was just hit is moved out farther from the curb instead of closer.
Continuity mistake: During baseball game in the clearing, Rosalie's back shot shows her neatly curled hair. Front shot, her hair is kind of a mess.
Revealing mistake: During the baseball game, when Carlisle steps up to bat, in the top left corner of the screen, Bella is being played by a stunt double.
Revealing mistake: When Bella and Edward are at the salad cart in the canteen, he asks her what her theories are. As she says, "Radioactive spiders and Kryptonite", he mouths her words.
Continuity mistake: When running through and marking trees, Rosalie's hair is flat and wilted. When Alice sees them stop due to James switching directions, Rosalie's hair is suddenly perfect.
Revealing mistake: When Edward stops the truck from crushing Bella, it is clear that the side of the truck is crushed before it actually reaches them.
Continuity mistake: When Bella is at the hospital, the little plant by her left changes place. First it is under the lamp; later it is no longer under it.
Continuity mistake: When Edward asks Rosalie and Esme to wear Bella's clothes, Rosalie has Bella's coat on her lap, but in the next shot it is on the counter next to her, with no time for it to have gotten there.
Revealing mistake: In the driving scene after Bella leaves her father to run from James, Edward appears on the side of her truck. Although the truck is moving, Edward's hair remains stationary.
Visible crew/equipment: In the wide shot where Bella is walking to her truck, just before Edward saves her from Tyler's van, there is a large piece of crew equipment next to the car in front of the truck in the bottom right corner slowly moving from side to side.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where they are driving up to the police station there is only one bright orange paper taped to the door, however close up there are three (orange, blue, black). Also a potted plant mysteriously appears - when they are driving up in Edward's car you can see there is no plant on the porch and when Carlisle comes out there is.
Continuity mistake: Different vampires have white faces but their ears and necks are normal color in different scenes.
