Continuity mistake: In the baseball scene, in the shot where Carlisle hits the ball and starts running to first base, you see Edward and Emmett in the background also start running to catch the ball. The next shots of Emmett and Edward show them standing still, just preparing to run. (01:17:10)
Continuity mistake: When James, Victoria and Laurent arrive at the baseball game, in the first shot of their arrival Laurent has his dreadlocks hanging over both of his shoulder. In the very next shot dreadlocks are only hanging over his right shoulder, and then back to both shoulders in the next. (01:18:50)
Continuity mistake: When Alice stops the baseball game by saying "stop!" Jasper is standing together with Esme and Bella, but before he was in the field (we never saw him returning to the homebase). (01:18:55)
Revealing mistake: In the baseball scene, when the nomad vampires appear, you can see the rim of Laurent's contact lenses in close-up shots. (01:19:30)
Continuity mistake: When leaving from the baseball scene, Emmett's jeep goes from being dirty on the sides with mud from the tires, to being clean. (01:21:25)
Revealing mistake: When Edward and Bella ride up to the baseball game in the jeep, they make one set of tracks on the ground. When they're rushing to leave, the shot shows that there are actually two sets of tracks running almost perfectly inside each other. (01:21:30)
Continuity mistake: When Bella leaves Charlie's house for Phoenix, the front door has the window blinds down when she comes home, then up when Charlie is looking out the door at her leaving; however you can see them when she slams the door going outside. (01:24:00)
Revealing mistake: When Bella is driving the truck away after she says she's leaving Charlie to go to Phoenix; when Edward is going to get in the truck when he's on the side of it, you can tell it's a stunt double. (01:24:35)
Continuity mistake: When Bella goes to Edward's house it has a two car garage, but later when they are leaving Forks, there are three cars in it. (01:25:55)
Continuity mistake: When the Cullens are in the garage preparing to take Bella to safety, Edward closes the trunk lid twice. First time is not so obvious because the camera is on Emmett and Rosalie, but the trunk closes on the right of the screen. Then it shows it closing again with it being the main shot. (01:30:40)
Continuity mistake: In the ballet studio, when James is thrown backwards into the mirror by Edward in the first shot he is landing on his backside but in the very next shot he is landing on his shoulders/stomach. (01:34:30)
Continuity mistake: When Bella is in the hospital, in the close-up of her face, the breathing tubes are right by her eyes, but when the shot is further from her face, the tubes are on her cheeks. (01:38:20)
Continuity mistake: In the hospital scene when Bella's mother is talking to Bella, during the scene the position of the blue cloth, newspaper and other items next to the large lamp (on the table next to where Edward sits) keeps on changing. (01:38:40)
Other mistake: Bella's nasal canula in the hospital scene were all over her face in almost every shot and they were not connected to anything. (01:38:45)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, the cast that Bella is wearing keeps changing lengths. first it's just a couple of centimetres below her knee, later it is almost 10 cm below her knee. (01:42:30)
Continuity mistake: During the hospital scene, when Edward is "sleeping," his head goes from leaning on one shoulder to suddenly on the other shoulder in the very next shot. In the top shot, there are 2 windows next to Edward's head, but the windows are not there in the next shot. Things on the table have moved too. (01:42:55)
Continuity mistake: When Edward and Bella are out in the parking lot at the prom where Jacob shows up, Edward's hair is styled a little over to the side, but when they go into the prom his hair is brushed up into a bouffant of sorts. (01:44:00)
Continuity mistake: At the prom Edward gives Bella a glass in her right hand, in the next shot beckons Bella to Eric and Angela with the right hand. When camera goes back the glass has vanished. (01:45:20)
Suggested correction: She was holding the glass with her left hand, which was out of the frame.
Continuity mistake: As Edward and Bella are dancing on the gazebo at prom, the other two couples leave the gazebo. The first couple who leave walk over to the stairs and start walking down them. In the next shot they're still walking to the stairs and then begin to descend them again. (01:46:00)
