Factual error: In the scene in the 'cattle car' the shadow and light from outside the bars is moving across Kyle's face as he is talking. But unless the light source moves relative to the shadow source, a shadow will not move. But the light source was just outside daylight - and not direct sunlight - so the shadow inside would not have moved.
Factual error: In the scene where the missile is inbound to the Skynet Research and Development Facility, it gives the coordinates of N36° E117°. Those coordinates would place the location in China, not in the United States. (00:06:05)
Factual error: Throughout the movie, it is established that it is set around Southern California. However there are many natural landmarks shown that are hundreds of miles outside of California such as the Rio Grande Jorge, the Sandia and Manzano Mountains, all located in New Mexico.
Factual error: The four-door Jeep Wrangler used in the movie wasn't made until 2007, three years after the date of Judgment Day as established in Terminator 3 (Saturday 24th July 2004). (00:33:15)
Factual error: The FN SCAR-L used by Barnes would not have existed because it was only in early development when Judgement Day took place in 2004 and as such would never have made it into production.
Suggested correction: The FN SCAR-L was already being produced by the time Judgment Day took place. And even if it wasn't, it's possible in the 14 years after Judgment Day, the resistance (or other survivors) was able to continue its production. Also, keep in mind that the 2004 in this timeline was a bit more advanced than the 2004 of our world (where early prototypes of hunter killers and other machines from the future were already being assembled). Because of this, the weapon could have been produced earlier.
