With the help of Farris' agents and his own precognitive powers, Cris defeats the terrorists and rescues Liz. Farris asks Cris to look into the future to see where the nuclear bomb will go off, but Cris realizes he's too late: The bomb is going off right now. As the nuclear wave hits them, we find out that the entire movie was a vision that Cris had when he was in bed with Liz earlier in the movie. Cris calls Farris and tells her that he will help them as long as Liz is left alone. Cris wakes up Liz and tells her that he is leaving, but will be back soon. Cris gets in the car with Farris to find the nuclear bomb and save the world.

Trivia: The Korean woman whom Cris calls up during his magic act is actually the real-life wife of Nicolas Cage.
Question: I don't get the joke Chris told Liz in the cabin motel about the Zen master that ordered a hotdog with everything. What was funny?

Chosen answer: The Zen master tells the hotdog vendor to "Make me one with everything," a pun, of sorts, on the Zen philosophy of becoming one with the universe.
