Blades of Glory

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, when McElroy is skating as an orphan, the close up shots of the ice McElroy is on shows 3 boys sitting next to the nuns. On the far away shots showing the entire area the nuns are standing alone. (00:01:00 - 00:02:00)

Continuity mistake: When McElroy's father is disowning him in the limo, watch the trees pass by outside as the father speaks. Almost every time they cut back to him you'll see the same scenery passing by. (00:13:45)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Chazz and Jimmy are talking about Chazz's shampoo, Mane & Tail, Jimmy puts the bottle on top of the bed post. When Jimmy turns away, the bottle is gone. Immediately before he turns, the top of the bottle was visible. (00:32:10)

Continuity mistake: When Chazz Michael Michaels goes to Katie Van Waldenberg to "comfort" each other Chazz leaves the door slightly open. Then it has a shot of Katie then back to Chazz and the door is completely closed. Then right before Jimmy walks in it shows a shot of Chazz and the door and it is slightly open again.

Movieman123

Continuity mistake: When Stranz Van Waldenberg is chasing Chazz, the latter slides under a pipe, followed by Stranz, who leans backwards. We are shown a close-up of Stranz standing up and continuing skating, at which point the camera cuts to a close-up of Chazz and Stranz can be seen standing up for a second time in the background.

Continuity mistake: When Will Ferrell is hit on the forehead, we see an obvious bruise on it. There is a real quick scene where the bruise is gone, and then in the next scene, it's back. Also, he gets hit on the right side of his head and the bruise is on the left.

Continuity mistake: Will Arnet's character pulls off his gold tooth during the first routine, and seems to toss it to the side. But while he's talking after the performance is over, it's back on.

Continuity mistake: In the final skating scene where Will and Jon are talking about how Will hurt his ankle and about how they are going to switch spots for the head-slicing move, Will's belt has come undone, and you can see the velcro used to hold it on. Then in the next shot, it is back on with no time to fix it.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jimmy and Katie are on their date, when Katie sits down on the bench, you will notice that there is nothing on the bench to the left. It then cuts to Jimmy and back to Katie. You will now see a cone wedged in the seat of the bench to the left, even though Jimmy and Katie are both still holding their snow cones.

Continuity mistake: When Hector is talking to Jimmy in the 'Has-Ban' Skating Blade Store, look at the UGG box that Jimmy opens. When it shows both Hector and Jimmy it's open, but when it shows Jimmy on his own, it's shut, and then when it shows Hector, it's open again.

Sauron

Continuity mistake: The second fight between Chazz and Jimmy where Jimmy was looking for a partner skater and Chazz just got fired from, you can see Chazz has no facial hair or 5 o'clock shadow. When the coach goes and talks to them in jail about partnering up and joining couples skate Chazz has full on facial hair.

Factual error: Early in the movie we see the newspaper dated "Sunday, March 14, 1987". March 14, 1987 was a Saturday, not a Sunday.
