Revealing mistake: When the stripper appears from the changing room during the cabaret scene, the stripper music is heard, but if you look carefully the tape recorder which is supposed to be playing the music is not actually moving.
Continuity mistake: When Ian Lavender is outside the shower room he has a yellow towel, but as soon as he gets inside it has changed to an orange patterned towel.
Continuity mistake: When Fred kicks the beach ball into the man's washing up basin, the ball is all wet and covered in bubbles. When the man throws the ball over the next door neighbour's caravan and falls into their salad bowl, the ball is now clean and dry.
Audio problem: As Fred and Ernie are driving away from the butcher's shop (as the wives shout after them about them "taking care of their rods") you hear Fred laughing but his face is deadly serious.
Continuity mistake: When Fred and Ernie return to their caravan and find their dinner is on fire, they enter the caravan and you can see the door is open. A few shots later, the door is closed without no one having touched it.
Revealing mistake: When the stripper film begins during Professor Crump's lecture, we see a man lighting his pipe. If you watch carefully, the lighted match does not make contact with his fingers, yet he still manages to burn himself in the process.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Kenneth Williams is "admiring the view" by Bernard Bresslaw's caravan, when Bernard goes back into his caravan the awning tent outside the door has disappeared. It is there throughout the rest of the film.
Suggested correction: This caravan has doors on both sides.
Continuity mistake: When the people are dancing to the music in the clubhouse, in the background we can see Fred and Ernie chatting to two girls by the bar, and there is a girl in a blue dress standing by Fred. But in the next shot, she has changed position and is now standing behind him.
Audio problem: When the stripper puts her foot on Ernie's leg during the dance sequence at the bar, you can hear Jack Douglas' voice, but his mouth does not move.
Audio problem: In some scenes of the myna bird talking, its beak is not moving in sync with what it says and in other scenes it is.
Continuity mistake: After Professor Crump and Professor Vooshka have finished inspecting the mosaic at the bottom of the cesspit, Professor Crump helps Professor Vooshka out of the pit. Initially Professor Vooshka starts out of the pit by leading with her right leg, but in the next shot, she is leading with her left.
Revealing mistake: When Fred and Ernie are checking for signs of life on Professor Crump whilst he is lying in bed unconscious, the 'unconscious' Crump blinks and moves his eyes several times.
Continuity mistake: When Ernie tosses the burnt sausages out of the caravan, he tosses them out of the back window. When we see the dog eating the sausages, he is eating them by the caravan door.
Continuity mistake: Before the chicken is run over by the archaeologists' van, the appearance of the chicken changes between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: When Professor Vrooshka visits Arthur's caravan and asks him if he has any crumpet, you can see the reflection of the boom operator on the front door window behind her.
Audio problem: When Sandra says "It's warm, isn't it?" before she takes off her jumper, her mouth is not moving.
Continuity mistake: When Ernie asks Sandra and Carol if they would like to have dinner with him and Fred, he is holding the cup and saucer in his right hand. In the next shot, he now has both hands on the saucer.
Continuity mistake: During the breakfast scene with Fred, Ernie, Carol and Sandra, Carol puts her hand on Ernie's hand while he is eating his cornflakes and then puts her hand back on the table, but in the following shot her hand is back on Ernie's hand again.
Continuity mistake: When Barnes leaves his caravan after discussing the rent with Professor Crump and Professor Vrooshka, Professor Vrooshka is holding a large knife, but in the next shot she is now holding a briefcase.
Continuity mistake: When Daphne tells Arthur that she won't have swearing after he hits his hand with the mallet, Arthur kicks down the awning on the caravan. At this point, Arthur is holding a mallet, but in the next shot when he is happy and rubs his hands together, the mallet is nowhere to be seen.
