Spider-Man 3

Plot hole: In this movie Goblin was able to sneak up on Peter. But in the previous movies Peter was able to sense danger from quite a distance away; Green Goblin from a few blocks and the train barricade from over a mile.

Plot hole: Flint Marko has his whole body turned into sand including his belt buckle and any other metal he happens to be wearing. If all of this turned into sand then why was the locket intact without it turning into sand as well?

Movieman123

Plot hole: Unless he was afraid Emma might use the truth against him to turn Penny against him, there's no reason Flint couldn't have told her the truth about the night Uncle Ben died.

Rob245

Plot hole: When Harry's pumpkin bomb exploded, disfiguring his face, there were also more pumpkin bombs around him. This explosion should have caused them all to explode, which would have killed Harry.

Suggested correction: It's entirely dependent on how the pumpkin bombs function and how they're built. They're likely built to be able to withstand a certain degree of outside force and heat so they wouldn't just randomly explode during a superhero/villain battle. They also don't seem to function like regular grenades... there seems to be electronic components to them. So it's entirely possible they can't go off until they're activated because certain components inside haven't mixed or been armed. Their rules are just too vaguely defined for this to be a valid mistake.

That's a good point.

Factual error: Though it's supposed to take place in NYC, when Sandman punches Spider-Man through the back door of the armored truck, as Spider-Man glides on the broken metal door he passes the well known Wyndham Hotel at Playhouse Square, located in downtown Cleveland.

Eddie Brock: It's Brock, sir. Edward Brock Jr. I come before you today, humbled and humiliated, to ask you for just one thing. I want you to kill Peter Parker.

Trivia: A great deal of Flint Marko/Sandman's storyline was edited out of the film by the studio due to the long run-time. One scene early in the film showed that the scientists who accidentally created Sandman were racked with guilt when they discovered they might have activated the machine with a person inside of it. Another scene had Sandman visiting a doctor researching his daughter's rare disease whom he had been corresponding with in prison. Yet another scene showed him following his daughter in a park, and morphing into a giant sandcastle that she plays with. And finally, his daughter was going to appear in the final battle, and would appeal to her father to stop hurting people and living a life of crime to get money, as she accepted that she was going to die no matter what. Her words would be what convinced him to seek forgiveness from Peter for accidentally killing Uncle Ben.

Question: This applies to all 3 films. Wouldn't someone eventually see Spiderman coming out of Peter Parker's apartment and put 2 and 2 together? Doesn't this seem just a bit careless on Peter's part?

dablues7

Chosen answer: Answered in the comics: Peter's Spider-Sense tells him if someone is looking when he's about to enter/exit the apartment as Spider-Man.
