Continuity mistake: Benjamin doesn't kiss anyone on the lips but in the 20 seconds it takes him to walk down from his room to the party a small smudge of lipstick appears on the left side of his lower lip as he speaks to the guests. (00:04:20)

Continuity mistake: Mr. McGuire asks to speak to Benjamin and takes him through the kitchen where some other people are talking with drinks in their hands. The woman kisses him on the cheek and the man puts his arm around his back but in the next shot they're not even close to him. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: As Mr. McGuire and Benjamin walk out of the kitchen to the pool area to speak, the dark red lipstick mark on his cheek left by Joanna when she kissed him is now gone. (00:05:40)

Continuity mistake: As Mrs. Robinson walks into Benjamin's room we see his dart board and someone has been playing between shots as the red dart above the board on the wallpaper moves six lines to the left. (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: We see Benjamin's fish tank as Mrs. Robinson barges into his room looking for the bathroom. It's rearranged between shots, with the deep-sea diver in the middle removed. (00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: Mrs. Robinson barges into Benjamin's room thinking it's the bathroom and the door is touching the wall behind it. In the next shot the door has been moved out about eight inches from the wall behind it. (00:07:05)

Continuity mistake: When Mrs. Robinson first walks into Benjamin's room there's a dual light switch on the wall to the left the door that disappears two shots later as she walks across the room. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: Mrs. Robinson barges into Benjamin's room and he stands up as she walks in. The fish in the tank are all at the side closest to him but in the next shot it looks as though there's no fish in the tank at all. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: Mrs. Robinson stands behind the bar and asks Benjamin, "What do you drink?" and you can see the ashtray next to the two black liquor bottles. In this shot there's nothing in it but a few seconds later as she sits in front of the bar it's full of cigarette butts. (00:10:20)

Continuity mistake: Mrs. Robinson sits at the bar and asks Benjamin, "Did you know I was an alcoholic?" and the silver shaker bottle with the large ring on top of it moves from the back of the bar to being between Mrs. Robinson and the radio she turns on, on the left wall. A few shots later it moves back again. (00:11:35)

Continuity mistake: The two large black liquor bottles that were on the left of Mrs. Robinson's bar when they walked out have been moved several feet to the right as Mr. Robinson pours Benjamin a drink. (00:12:10)

Continuity mistake: Benjamin says, "Mrs. Robinson you're trying to seduce me" as she plays with her left earring. In the next shot she's not touching her ear but smoking her cigarette. (00:12:25)

Continuity mistake: Benjamin says, "I'm going home now" and the red and white plastic ornament above Elaine's bed is casting a shadow on the large "R" behind her head board. In the next shot the lighting is different and there is no shadow. (00:14:50)

Continuity mistake: Benjamin says to Mrs. Robinson, "I'm going home now, I apologize for what I said" as he walks out of Elaine's room. In the next shot as Mrs. Robinson walks out, if you look very closely everything on the three shelves to the left and right of Elaine's picture has been rearranged. (00:15:00)

Continuity mistake: Benjamin brings up Mrs. Robinson's purse who says, "Put it in Elaine's room, where we were". He proceeds to put it next to a vase on the first shelf to the right of her picture. We've seen this shelf a few seconds before and all that was there was a cup and a pink basket that are now gone. (00:16:00)

Continuity mistake: After Mrs. Robinson corners him in Elaine's room, Benjamin runs down stairs and picks up his drink just before Mr. Robinson walks through the front door. When we saw the drink earlier as he put it down just before they went up to see Elaine's picture, it was half full, now it's empty with a few ice cubes in it. (00:16:40)

Continuity mistake: The two large black liquor bottles that we saw on the left of Mrs. Robinson's bar have been moved several feet to the right as Mr. Robinson pours Benjamin a nightcap. (00:17:55)

Continuity mistake: Mr. Robinson pours Benjamin a scotch and puts the large black liquor bottle back down facing outward the same way as the other one. As Mr. Robinson hands him his drink Benjamin says, "thank you, thank you very much" and if you look closely at the label the black bottle of scotch has been rotated 90 degrees to the left and is no longer facing them. Continuity mistake: Before Mr. Braddock introduces Benjamin at his birthday party we get a good look at the lawn chairs on the left of the screen and they're all in the shade. Several shots later when Benjamin finally comes out in his Scuba gear the lawn chairs are in the sunlight. (00:21:55)

Continuity mistake: Benjamin calls Mrs. Robinson from the Taft Hotel lobby and asks her to meet him for a drink. At first he's standing in a dark phone booth then in the next shot as he walks out the area is all lit up. (00:25:10)

Factual error: There is a scene with Benjamin Braddock going to Berkeley, but his car is driving on the upper deck of Bay Bridge which only goes in the direction of San Francisco.
