Clean and Sober (1988)

Daryl Poynter loses his job since his illegal money borrowing is discovered and since he lost that large sum of money and cost them fincially. While driving whilst pill-popping Charlie Standers sees to late a car coming from heer left at high speed which ploughs straight into her, chrushing her vehicle between a motoway colloum. Devistated Dary realises that turning to booze and drugs in this time of grief will only ensure he suffers a similar fate to hers and decides to stay sober. Cut to a month later and he standing up on stage making a witty if colourful but still honest speech to the audience made up of the staff and patients with his counselor Craig and his sponsor Richard Dirks sitting in the front row impressed by his turnaround.
