Continuity mistake: There is a barrel of burning material outside the church that goes from burning to put out, to burning again between several shots.

Revealing mistake: When there is the flash-montage of single-frame images at the bad-guy's hideout, you can tell many images are being repeated, and if you go through frame-by-frame, you can see some of them are actually behind the scenes photos of the cast interacting with the director/crew. (Smiling at the director off-camera, etc.).

Continuity mistake: Lola's hands are stained with wet, dripping blood at the end of the movie for no apparent reason, as nothing happened to bloody them up before that.

Revealing mistake: When Jimmy breaks Pestilence's neck, it is very obvious he really isn't doing so, because he just bends the neck slightly to the side, in a very safe position.

Continuity mistake: When Luc and his gang barge in on the wedding, in one shot the bride is facing forward, but in the next shot, her head is turned to look back, and then turns back forward.

Continuity mistake: Luc walks up to War twice between cuts when he first arrives at the church near the end of the movie.

Revealing mistake: When War shoots the fence, making the sparks ignite the liquid, you can tell in the shot from above the sparks were way above the liquid, and there is no way it would have ignited.

Revealing mistake: When Jimmy gets kicked by Luc the first time at the totem-pole yard, the kick misses him by quite a distance.

Continuity mistake: When Luc and Lola are starting to have sex on the totem pole, Luc and Lola's position changes between several cuts. For example, Luc goes from kissing Lola's neck, to sort of sniffing her, back to kissing her neck between cuts.

Revealing mistake: When War executes the wedding witnesses, we can see several people behind Lola, cowering behind a table, and they don't react at all when the shots are fired.

Continuity mistake: The position of the deviled eggs on the plate Luc is holding in one scene changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: The first time Jimmy gets shot in the bar, he almost falls to his knees, and we see a quick cutaway to the guy reloading. But in the next shot Jimmy is standing up straight, without having enough time to get back up.

Continuity mistake: When Lucifer turns and says "Honey, I'm home." in the first shot his arms are open, but in the next shot they are closed.

Revealing mistake: When War is firing the shotgun, the sparks from the bullets hitting the fence are ridiculously huge, revealing squibs were used.

Continuity mistake: When Jimmy is electrocuting Pestilence, in some shots he has both hands on Pestilence's neck, and in others he has only one hand around his neck.

Continuity mistake: When Lola says "a sacrificial virgin to seal our wedding vows" she is reaching towards the cake and putting her finger into the frosting, but in the next cut, he hand is by her face, and there is already frosting on her finger.

Continuity mistake: The hearse driver is high and weaving all over the road in the wide shots. Yet inside the car, we can see his hand is fairly steady on the wheel, not moving anywhere near enough to make it swerve around as it does.

Continuity mistake: The glass cup/bottle that Jimmy smashes against the bartender's face is not in his hand in any previous shot.

Continuity mistake: When the hearse stops, you can briefly see the reflection of the driver in the mirror, and you can see he is not wearing a hat, yet in the next shot in the car, he IS wearing a hat.

Jimmy Cuervo: Quoth the raven nevermore, motherfucker.

More trivia for The Crow: Wicked Prayer

Question: Originally this fourth "Crow" film was going to be called "The Crow: Lazarus" and be about a black wannabe rapper who is brought back by the crow after a drive-by shooting. Anyone know why this plot was dropped? Because it seemed to fit the material more than a movie about Satan and God.

Answer: As I understand it, it all had to do with a spat between the director of the original Crow movie (Alex Proyas, who had "approval" of all the subsequent Crow movies) the producer of the Crow movie franchise, Jeff Most, and Miramax. Miramax eventually caved in favor of the producer and it was made into a "non-Crow entity" when Miramax reportedly signed Eminem to play the bad guy.
