Continuity mistake: When the assistant warden and the bald inmate are walking down the corridor towards the end, two inmates from inside their cells put their hands on the bars of the cell doors to see what is happening. The inmate standing on the left has both of his hands on the bars and the inmate standing on the right has both hands on the row of bars positioned below where the inmate standing on the left has his hands. When the camera changes angles, the inmate standing on the left no longer has his hands on the bars and the inmate standing on the right now has his hands positioned on two separate rows of bars. Continuity mistake: When Ricky is being tortured by the warden, after the warden removes the tape covering his mouth, Ricky spits out some blood as many of the razors inside his mouth. The razors that were shown sticking out of his cheeks are not shown moving, but after it cuts to the warden with some of the razors stuck to his face, the shot cuts back to Ricky and the razors in his cheeks are no longer there. Even the ones that weren't shown being spat out. (01:16:40)

Casual Person

Other mistake: When Ricky's girlfriend lands on the ground after jumping off the roof, she is shown landing on her front, with her face and body shown hitting the ground. When Ricky is shown looking at her body at the morgue, her face has virtually no signs of injury what so ever. (01:11:29)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Ricky's girlfriend jumps off the roof, her body is positioned so that her legs are facing towards the building, but when she falls to the ground in the next shot, her body is suddenly facing the opposite direction, as we can see her legs are facing away from the building. (01:11:27)

Casual Person

Revealing mistake: When Ricky's girlfriend commits suicide by jumping off the roof of a drug dealer's apartment building, the body that is shown falling to the ground is a dummy and not a human body. (01:11:28)

Casual Person

Audio problem: When Wong Chun bursts out of the manhole cover to kick the dog into two pieces, he screams aloud, but his mouth doesn't move. (01:09:15)

Casual Person

Audio problem: Just after the warden tells the inmates if Ricky can stay buried alive for seven days, he'll consider him a free man, his son runs up to the hole Ricky is in. He is heard laughing whilst running up to the hole, but his chest and stomach aren't shown moving along with the laughing, implying the laughs were dubbed in afterwards. (01:07:50)

Casual Person

Other mistake: Just after Tarzan has been crushed and killed by the ceiling being lowered to the ground, Ricky finds a photo of Tarzan and his mother that slipped out of the jail cell, just in front of the entrance beforehand. There is no way this picture could have slipped out of the cell. He was standing nowhere near the entrance to the cell whilst he was being crushed and anytime he was shown standing near the entrance whilst he was fighting with Ricky, so nothing could have happened for the photo to unintentionally slip out of his pocket and out of the cell. (01:05:05)

Casual Person

Other mistake: When the ceiling in the jail cell has lowered all the way to the ground, Tarzan is crushed by it and killed. Despite Tarzan's body being crushed by the ceiling, the ceiling touches the ground incredibly smoothly. The lowering of the ceiling is in no way delayed or slowed down by Tarzan's body being in the way, and the sound of the ceiling touching the ground is in no way muffled or affected by Tarzan's body being crushed. Continuity mistake: When the warden's son begins walking down the red carpet and trips up, the shadows of the prison guards can be seen cast on the carpet. When the assistant warden goes to help him up a few seconds later, the shadows of the guards have disappeared from the carpet. (00:56:58)

Casual Person

Other mistake: Just after the warden gets out of the car, greets the assistant warden and walks away, the camera stays on the assistant warden for a few seconds with no-one else visible in the shot. He then feels a pain in his foot. A close-up shot of his foot is then shown where it is revealed the warden's son is standing right next to him and has stood on his foot. The warden's son should have been visible in the previous shot when he first stepped on the assistant warden's foot as several feet are shown on both sides of the assistant warden, but was not visible at all. (00:56:29)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: After revealing Hai's body to Sa, Tarzan points to a back tattoo that belonged to Hai that is stuck to the wall, pointing with his right hand. After asking him if he thinks he should avenge his death, Tarzan begins to lower his right arm. At the end of the shot, Tarzan's arm is still raised slightly, but in the next shot, his arm is lowered completely. (00:45:30)

Casual Person

Revealing mistake: When the gang of Four show Sa the dead body of Hai lying on the bed, the body shown on the bed is a fake dummy body and not a real human body. (00:45:22)

Casual Person

Revealing mistake: When Sa shows Ricky that his tongue has been cut out, in the close-up shot of his mouth, it is apparent that his mouth has been replaced with a fake prop mouth. The skin, lips and teeth do not resemble how human skin, lips and teeth appear in any way. (00:42:02)

Casual Person

Revealing mistake: When Ricky punches Hai after throwing him into the air, there is an X-ray image shown of Hai getting his skull pummelled in. In the shot after this, Hai can be seen swinging backwards unnaturally, revealing that he is being held up by a wire off-screen. (00:38:05)

Continuity mistake: When Sa hands out the leaves for Ricky to use, the leaves are positioned on his fingers in one shot, but when the shot cuts, the leaves are suddenly positioned on his palm. (00:43:35)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Ricky punches Hai whilst he attempts to choke him with his intestines, Hai lands on the ground a foot or two away from Ricky. Hai then stands up, and he and Ricky are suddenly meters apart. Ricky cannot be seen on-screen, but a couple meters of ground can be seen in front of Hai, so the distance between the two has changed. Continuity mistake: When Hai attempts to choke Ricky with his intestines, Ricky punches him and Hai falls back. Ricky is shown with his left fist extended further than his right fist. The shot then cuts to a different angle of Ricky where it is now his right fist that is extended further than his left. (00:37:51)

Casual Person

Revealing mistake: In the close-up shot of Hai's stomach when he removes his intestines, it is apparent that the blood that was used is not real blood, but in fact red-coloured water. The blood shown here does not have the thickness that real blood has and drips way too much like water. (00:37:41)
