John Sullivan: I may not know who he is, but I know where he's gonna be and how he's gonna get there.
Frank: I'm not a cop, I'm a firefighter.
Frank: I'm still here, Chief.
John Sullivan: You went down 30 years ago pal you just don't know it yet.
John Sullivan: Not for nothing, the past is a funny thing, we all have skeletons in the closet. You just never know when they're gonna pop up and bite you in the ass.
Frank Sullivan: Why don't we tame this bronco, huh? You and me, spirit and guts.
John: Shoulda, woulda, coulda, pal.
Julia Sullivan: What's going on here, Satch?
Satch: Frank says that he talks to Johnny, little Johnny on the radio in the future, and this guy claims to be your son.
Julia Sullivan: Well, I talked to him too, once. He's a cop.
Satch: You talked to the guy on the radio?
Answer: Firemen never get rid of their gear in a fire, especially not a helmet. He was unable to reach via radio his crew and when he threw his helmet out the window, it told his crew that he was in trouble and what his position is. They also then have a clue that he is still alive.
