Continuity mistake: During the car chase scene, the minivan driven by Brad sometimes has its left tail light and sometimes does not. This mistake is visible several times during the scene.
Other mistake: When Jane is driving with John on the roof, she jumps out when John breaks through the window. The car then proceeds to accelerate through the trees and into the air. The road is not downhill and Jane didn't place anything on the gas pedal.
Trivia: Nicole Kidman was supposed to star along side Brad Pitt, but had to pull out due to other commitments. When she did this, Brad also pulled out but later re-joined when Angelina Jolie was cast.
Question: After John and Jane killed all those people, wouldn't their boss send more people after them? And why don't the Smiths fear/anticipate/react to this fact/possibility? Is it me or does it seem the only way they could have a happy ending is die or they have to kill the boss and destroy all their records (Which they would probably die trying).
