Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan meets Anakin on the landing bay of the volcanic planet, Obi-Wan comes down the ramp from the ship and removes his cloak. It lays across the end of the ramp. The shot changes, then comes back, and the cloak is now bunched off to one side. (01:42:30)

Continuity mistake: When Yoda enters to confront Sidious he wipes out the two red guards. The guard on the right side moves a feet away from the entrance between the shots. (01:44:10)

Continuity mistake: When the Emperor says "I have waited a long time for this moment, my little green friend," Yoda can be seen lying beside his cane on the purple carpet. When they show him standing up, he and the cane are now further back toward the wall on the tan part of the carpet. (01:45:10)

Continuity mistake: After Yoda says "At an end your rule is. And not short enough it was" he flips toward the doorway to block the Emperor. Yoda's wooden cane that was on the floor in previous shots is now missing for the remainder of the scene. (01:45:40)

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith mistake picture

Continuity mistake: During the Anakin/Obi-Wan fight scene Obi Wan switches lightsabers with Anakin. When Anakin is strangling him we can definitely see that Obi-Wan is holding Anakin's lightsaber in his right hand (note the hilt design), but when the shot is reversed Obi-Wan is holding his own lightsaber in that hand. (01:46:30)

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan kicks Anakin for the second time as they fight on the huge table, as the shot ends, Anakin is about to land on the right side of the table. In the next shot, he lands on the other side, and in the following shot, we see the impact of him landing again. Also, his position as he lies on the table keeps changing between shots. This is easy to see in the wide shots, and in the close-ups, where it can be seen from the pattern and the lit strip on the table. Also, notice that as his lightsaber flies into his hand, his hand is on the edge of the table, but in the previous and following shots, he was lying too far away from the edge to reach it. (01:46:45)

Continuity mistake: Just before Anakin and Obi-Wan throw each other through the air, in the first shot from above, they are duelling on the floor. In the next shot from the other side, their positions are different, seen from the pattern on the floor. (01:47:25)

Kylantha

Continuity mistake: When the Emperor is throwing the pods down toward Yoda his position changes from standing on the edge of the pod to inside the pod between a few shots. (01:48:15)

Continuity mistake: In the speech hall when Yoda fights Darth Sidious, when Yoda falls down grabbing onto a panel, he holds on while sliding down, leaving scrape marks with his nails. When it cuts you can see the scrape marks have changed. (01:49:25)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan is hanging on the wire above the lava, as he spots the pod below him, he is holding on to the wire with one hand only. When it cuts to him swinging to jump to the pod he is holding on with both hands. (01:52:45)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan jumps to the high ground during the duel with Anakin, in the shot where he lands, his lightsaber is held parallel to the ground. In the next shot, it is pointing downwards, and in the following shot, it is pointing slightly upwards, and his left arm is positioned differently from the previous shot. (01:54:25)

Continuity mistake: When Obiwan and Anakin are fighting on the narrow walkway, lava splashes over it and causes that portion of the building to fall into the magma river. As it is falling, there is a significant amount of lava on the severed end of the walkway, which ends up as the "top" of the tower once floating on the river. For the rest of the scene this lava is gone, and none is shown falling on or by Obi-Wan and Anakin as they scramble along the side of the tower. (01:55:45)

Jason Sieberg

Continuity mistake: When Anakin runs and jumps off the platform as it descends the lava bank, the glove is on his right hand, but in the next shot when he lands on the DLC-13 mining droid, the glove is suddenly on his left hand instead. (01:57:53)

Continuity mistake: In the first shot of the scene where Luke and Leia are born, Padmé's head reaches the top of the black area of the bed. Her head is seen in all the following shots, and her position doesn't change. But when she says, "Oh, Luke", her head has moved about 10 cm down from her previous position. (02:00:30)

Kylantha

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the twins are born, there are two shots where Padmé is stroking her son's (Luke) cheek. As the second shot ends, she's still stroking his cheek, but in the next shot, she is no longer touching him. (02:00:45)

Continuity mistake: When Padmé is stroking her son's cheek, as she says, "Oh, Luke." the baby's hands are up by his mouth, which they weren't in the previous and following shots. (02:00:45)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin and Padmé's son, Luke, is born, the baby is swabbed clean as the midwife droid hands him to Obi-Wan. But in the shot where Padmé says, "Oh, Luke." there's blood on the baby's head and chest. (02:00:45)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin is in the medical centre lying on his back being transformed into Darth Vader, you can see the main part of the mask being lowered into place but Anakin is not wearing the neck section of the mask that it connects to. We then see the main part lowering directly downwards, in the next shot the neck section is in place. (02:01:20)

Trivia: General Grievous is permanently coughing when he talks. The cause is revealed in the last episode of the animated Emmy-winning TV series "Clone Wars" (albeit technically no longer canon). In that episode, Grievous kidnaps Palpatine and before leaving, is attacked by Mace Windu, who destroys part of his chest armour, making him cough for the first time.

More trivia for Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Answer: Darth Vader has a special chamber in which parts of the suit can be removed for comfort. When he is not in the chamber he must wear it at all times in order to survive.

Answer: Darth Vader does have his own personal chamber made to assist him with the equipment /suit he wears as well as, I'm sure, for resting/meditation purposes. Also keep in mind that Jedi/Sith, especially those trained to use the force (particularly those having mastered it), don't need the same sleep requirements regular folks need. They can "sleep" sitting straight up, on top of much harder elements and they can even "draw" energy from the force to help them stay awake. The expanded universe, via the books, gives more examples of Jedi/Sith sleeping or measures they take.
