Continuity mistake: Hugh Grant is in the emergency room stitching up a homeless guy that got stabbed in the leg, who is wearing a green jogging suit. He has extremely yellow teeth in that scene, however during the rest of the movie his teeth are perfectly white.

Hugh Grant goes to the nurse, Jodie I think her name is, Sarah Jessica Parker, anyway. He sees a Triphase trash bag, confronts her, and gets hit from behind with a baseball bat by her crippled brother. (Maybe I should have said "paraplegic?") Wakes up in Triphase paralyzed, finds out he's not paralyzed, Jodie frees him, he fights his way out, kills Gene Hackman, goes to NYU to live happily ever after. Then Gene Hackman's wife comes to NYU, gives Gene's research data to Hugh - she thought Gene was trying to do a good thing in a bad way, now Hugh can carry on the right way.
