Ending / spoiler
Directed by: Mike Nichols
Starring: Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Clive Owen
Larry and Anna end up back together, although Anna looks really depressed in the last close up. Daniel and Alice seemingly are back together, until Alice dumps him in the last scenes. Alice did sleep with Larry, and Alice's real name is Jane. She returns to New York City, and walks down the street.
Lisa Nicole
Alice: Where is this love? I can't see it, I can't touch it. I can't feel it. I can hear it. I can hear some words, but I can't do anything with your easy words.
Trivia: Natalie Portman considers this movie to be her first one that helped her get away from her "Star Wars image".
Question: After leaving Larry for Dan, why did Anna break up with him and reunite with Larry?
Answer: I think it was because of the offer that Larry made to Anna. He promised that if they had sex one more time, he would leave her alone and never contact her again. The fact that he was willing to give her freedom, is what made her choose him. Dan was more "needy" and pushy, which is hypocritical, because he left Alice based on her being needy.

Suggested correction: No he's not.
The mistake is valid. After Larry says "Buster", we see Dan standing at an angle with his back towards the opening of the door and doorknob and his left side closest to the door. In the next shot, he's turned more than 90° so that his right side is now closest to the door opening and doorknob.
