Factual error: When Mrs. Krank tries to snatch the Christmas ham in the parking lot of the grocery store, you can see trees with green foliage in the distance. Chicago never has green foliage on trees in the month of December.
Factual error: Blair's boyfriend Enrique is Spanish speaking from Peru... yet he doesn't know that "music" is Spanish is a feminine noun and calls it "musico." Music in Spanish is "musica".
Character mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Tim Allen is on the roof and the fire squad is called. One of the firemen carrying the ladder accidentally hits a man in the head with it.
Nora Krank: You forgot the white chocolate.
Luther Krank: They didn't have any.
Nora Krank: Did you talk to Rex?
Luther Krank: Who's Rex?
Nora Krank: The butcher.
Luther Krank: ...as odd as it sounds, I didn't think to ask the butcher where the chocolate was.
Trivia: When Frosty has just been smashed up and we see his head, the light in his eye goes out a bit like the terminators at the end of "Terminator 3" (2003).
