Continuity mistake: Mr. Krank is wearing a black overcoat going to give away the cruise trip. After the burglar falls off the roof his coat is tan.
Suggested correction: That's not what happened. Mr. Krank is wearing a tan coat to start with, you see him wearing it when he's in the house. When he goes outside, he puts on a black overcoat over his tan coat (which you can even see). When he's coming back, he finds Ned has been stuck on the roof and after helping him get down, he has given Ned his black overcoat, which you see Ned wearing. So Mr. Krank is back to wearing just the tan coat.
Continuity mistake: When Luther and the Frosty statue fall off the roof, it shows Frosty break into at least 15 different pieces. Then it shows a pile of pieces of him a few seconds later. Yet a few more moments later, it shows Frosty completely fine in one piece as the neighbors pull him back onto the roof with a rope.
Suggested correction: Fromyer sends one of the neighbors to get another person's Frosty when they are making arrangements to get ready for Blair's coming home.
Continuity mistake: Just after treading on the neighbours' cat he is talking to them and the woman power walking seems to be going nowhere, as she is in the same spot twice.
Continuity mistake: The Christmas wreath on the front door of the Kranks' house appears and disappears throughout the movie, independently of Tim Allen removing and replacing it as part of the plot. In most shots from across the street the wreath is missing. On closeups that include the front door in the shot, the wreath is present.
