Other mistake: Johnny Finger is supposed to be a crack shot, and in his first scene he supposedly beats three guys on the draw simultaneously. However, as he goes for his revolver with his left hand, it goes off almost immediately whilst still pointing straight downwards. (00:02:45)

Continuity mistake: When Belle Armitage first shoots her pistol at Johnny Finger, she drops it down the front of her dress. Seconds later, it reappears up between her ample bosom.
Johnny Finger: I once talked peace with a Sioux, but you can't trust them. One moment it was peace on, the next it was peace off.
Trivia: Bernard Bresslaw and Peter Butterworth both made their "Carry On" debuts in this movie.
