After Mark runs away the whole family, including Nora, who splits up with her boyfriend, looks for him. After Tom (Steve Martin) hears "it's my favourite place in the world" he remembers that Mark loved their old home. Mark was on a train home when Tom jumped on. The family reunites and gives Mark's frog a funeral in the backyard.
