Corrected entry: The final phrase in the movie narrated by Heath Ledger is, 'Such Is Life'. For those who don't know, 'Such Is Life' were in fact the real Ned Kelly's last words before he was hanged at the Old Melbourne Gaol in 1880.

Correction: Not so much a correction.More additional information. Whilst the record states that Ned's last words were 'Such is life' more accurate records (rather than folklore) suggest his very last words before falling through the trapdoor were 'Tell the bastards I died game.'

Corrected entry: When Ned Kelly goes to Aaron Sherritt's house with the cops, Ned dresses up as a women and shoots him. It's been proven that Joe Byrne actually killed him alongside with Dan Kelly. Aaron came out and he was shot while Dan kicked down the door and shot randomly around the Aaron's homestead. It wasn't Ned Kelly and Steve Hart who committed the crime.

Correction: In the movie it is not Ned Kelly that is dressed up as a woman. It is in fact Joe Byrne that is dressed up and shoots Aaron.

Factual error: The film implies that Ned Kelly and his friends only became criminals after being harassed by the police. In fact, they had a long history of criminality, bushranging and animal rustling before being declared outlaws.

Ned Kelly: They said I'd lost what it meant to be human, maybe never had it in the first place, but wasn't this about protecting the ones I loved? The ones who gave me food, and shelter, even the clothes on me back? And therefore wasn't it now a war?
