Factual error: During the scene where Navajas is throwing knives at El Mariachi and then the Bucho gang in the limo, he slides down in front of the car. The license plate simply says "Mexico" under the serial. Actual Mexican plates of the time period in the movie use the official state abbreviation followed by MEX to identify the state of issue. For example, JAL MEX for Jalisco, which is where the JWF685 serial seen on the plate would have been issued.

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys try and kill Antonio Banderas in the bookstore, after killing about the third bad guy, you can clearly see his gun lock on an empty chamber, but there's a cut and he immediately carries on shooting.

Carolina: No.
El Mariachi: I will.
Trivia: The American girl who is criticising the service in the Tarasco Bar (just before Quentin Tarantino walks in) is actually Robert Rodriguez's sister.
Question: What is the song that is being played with Quentin Tarantino as he is first appeared in the bar. (Mostly the lyrics in it are "ohs" and "ahs").
