Factual error: The animators have clearly tried to make all the writing in the film look Arabic. However in one scene we see the faces of Jafar and the Sultan as they read a scroll. Their eyes move from left to right; Arabic is read right to left.

A young thief, Aladdin, is asked by the sultan's evil advisor, Jafar, to steal a lamp. He does so, but his pet monkey Abu steals the lamp back. Trivia: When Rajah transforms, if you watch it frame by frame, his head bears a striking resemblance to Mickey's head. There is a long-standing tradition for Disney to put 'hidden Mickeys' in their movies.
