What a film. This film follows the events of the 1997 Bank of America shootout in Hollywood in a documentary style.

While there is a few discrepancies the plot is strongly close to actual events. So for the purpose of the review I'm sticking to just the movie.

Good acting throughout the film, and holds you 8n a captivating way. Straight to the action, no messing around. The two villains are relatable as much as villains can be. Even showing a bit of emotion towards the end of the film. Good special effects and a few comedy moments help to break up the tension created by the main plot.

This title will have you sitting on the edge of your seat (more so if you're not familiar with the true events) A definite watch if you love over the top gun fights and movies that get straight to the point.

Factual error: After the cops respond to the domestic disturbance (son hitting mom), we see the male officer get in the back with the boy to show him the crime scene photos and he shuts the door after getting in. Police cars are designed so that the back doors must be opened from outside, however, he exited the car with no help. (00:21:00)

Suggested correction: Police cars just use the child safety lock on the side of door that prevents the back door being opened from inside. It's simple to turn them off so the doors can be opened from the inside.

However, as an active police car that has just arrested a suspect, the child lock would be on to prevent escape. The mistake remains valid.

And it is worth noting that when Henry leaves the car he doesn't engage the lock but the suspect remains in the car.

Donnie Anderson: We're supposed to have the firepower, but they had the firepower that day. But we had the willpower. You know what? I'll take willpower over firepower any day.

Question: At the end of the film, there is a series of clips and news articles covering the aftermath of the shootout. Does anyone know if the clips in the film are genuine news clips from the aftermath of the event or if they are filmed for the purpose of this movie? One shot shows 3 LAPD officers getting a medal presented to them, one shows footage of people taking gifts to the LAPD etc.
