Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie, after the sniper talks to Stu in the ambulance, the camera rises, and you can see that the street and sidewalk are wet, and below the police cars, the concrete is dry; when in the whole movie, it never rained at all.
Phone Booth (2002)
21 mistakes - chronological order
Directed by: Joel Schumacher
Starring: Colin Farrell, Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker, Katie Holmes, Radha Mitchell
Genres: Thriller
The Caller: If you have to ask, you're not ready to know yet.
Trivia: The big speech from "Couldn't you find anyone worse? A child molester..." to the bit where Stu is shot was filmed in one take. Colin Farrel did everything and surprised himself and the crew. When he hit the floor, the crew (and the extras) had to contain their applause until the cameras stopped rolling.
Question: Did the sniper actually have a laser? One of the "correctors" states that he doesn't and it's actually just for effect.

Answer: Of course he's got a laser - we see the red dot, ergo, he's got a laser. Whether this is a laser sight attached to his rifle, or just an ordinary hand-held laser pointer like a lecturer might use, we have no way to know.
