Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the film, Tom Skerritt is on the same aircraft carrier as the fighter jets, but right after the jets bomb the enemy soldiers, Tom Skerritt arrives in a helicopter. There is no way that a helicopter is just as fast as an F-18 fighter jet. (01:44:25)

"LT" calls for an airstrike and finally gets one. Two military planes fly by and bomb the enemies, killing them all. The refugees gain access to the gates of Cameroom and are reunited with the others taken by helicopter earlier in the movie. Patience, though she lost her husband in a battle, is reunited with her daughter. "LT, "Red", "Zee" and "Doc" survived the mission. "LT" and Lena share a tender moment as they are taken away in the helicopter. Some of the refugees recognize Arthur and surround him with excitement...realizing he has survived and can now lead his people. Arthur holds up his fist and yells "Freedom!", then his people dance and sing with him. The final quote of the movie is "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing".
