Corrected entry: In the kitchen scene when Cobra cleans his gun, he pulls out the clip and puts it on the table. If you look closely, you will notice that the tip of the bullets are blue. This indicates blanks. What a cop - goes up against bad guys without real ammunition.
Corrected entry: In the chase scene where Cobra is chasing the white car, at one point you see him drive next to the white car and you hear the driver say "he's crazy" two times but his mouth doesn't move.
Correction: It's not the driver talking, but his passenger, The Night Slasher.
Correction: That Is not the voice of the passenger.
It's Brian Thompson's aka. Night Slasher's voice.
Corrected entry: In the chase scene near the end with the pickup and the motorcycles, the pickup plows through two cars that are blocking the road. We see a shot of the hood flying off the pickup but in the next shot it's back on.
Correction: The hood you see flying off is from one of the two cars blocking the road. It's a different color than the pickup.
Correction: That's assuming the "blue tip" bullets weren't Glaser Safety Slugs, a high performance defense-oriented specialty ammunition. They also have a blue tip which keeps the liquid teflon and 12 shot inside the bullet. Early Glaser Safety Slugs (around the time when the film was made) were made with a flatter tip than they are now. Considering the kinds of SWAT style police work Cobra did, it's likely he'd use Glaser Safety Slug ammunition.
