The Hudsucker Proxy

Set in the 1940's, Norville, a simple-minded low-level employee at Hudsucker Industries is promoted to power by an unscrupulous board of directors. He surprises them by coming up with the idea for the hula hoop and enjoys his fifteen minutes of fame as well as the attentions of Amy Archer, a woman reporter undercover as his secretary. Things turn sour, though, as Norville changes and becomes tarnished by power and less appealing to the public.

Continuity mistake: When Norville is acting out the Munsie song and dance, you can see perspiration marks on Norville's left underarm. However, the marks are gone further on in the scene.
