Revealing mistake: Xander has a XXX tattoo on the back of his neck. There are several scenes where you get a clear shot of the back of the stunt double's neck and there's no tattoo at all. Most noticeably in the scenes during the attack on the cocaine farm. (00:23:05)

Xander disables Silent Night by pulling out the hard drive which then sinks and explodes. Xander then goes underwater and is believed to have been killed by the detonation but then resurfaces, freezing and shivering. He and Yelena then appear in Bora Bora and Gibbons congratulates him on a video device. Xander and Yelena then laugh and kiss then dive into the water for a swim.

Trivia: In the party scene at XXX's house after he pulls the stunt with the Corvette, Joshua Todd, the ex-lead singer of Buckcherry, makes a cameo appearance - he never turns around, but you can see the suicide king of hearts tattoo on his back.
Question: Why did Vin Diesel pull out of the sequel? Why is the sequel called XXX: The State of the Union if it has nothing to do with XXX himself?
Answer: Vin Diesel chose to reject the sequel as he was being offered three different franchises, based on XXX, The Fast and the Furious concept and the character of Riddick (from Pitch Black) - he presumably felt that he couldn't commit to them all. In the end, he chose to go with the Riddick films and reject the others. The sequel is called XXX for the simple reason that the character is still present - they've just recast the role.
