Plot summary
Directed by: Rachel Talalay
Starring: Robert Englund, Lezlie Deane, Lisa Zane, Shon Greenblatt
In part six of the Nightmare on Elm Street series, dream monster Freddy Krueger has finally killed all the children of his hometown, and seeks to escape its confines to hunt fresh prey. To this end, he recruits the aid of his (previously unmentioned) daughter. However, she discovers the demonic origin of her father's powers and meets Dad head-on in a final showdown.
Freddy Krueger: Kung fu this, bitch.
Tracy: This is my dream, and I do what I want.
Freddy Krueger: Might be your dream, but it's my rules.
Question: When John Doe is at the shelter and is dreaming about walking up stairs, how is he able to walk on air in the real world? At this point in time, John isn't even in Springwood anymore so the whole altering-reality-through-dreams thing shouldn't work here. Also, how did John get from being in the air to being back on the ground when the security guard catches up to him? And why didn't the guard see John in the air?
