Factual error: At Portobello Market, when the kids are eating, there's a sign that reads "cookies." No chance there would have been anything like that in 40's London. It would definitely have read "biscuits."

Bedknobs And Broomsticks (1971)
1 factual error - chronological order
Directed by: Robert Stevenson
Starring: Roddy McDowall, Angela Lansbury, David Tomlinson, Sam Jaffe
Visible crew/equipment: When Ms Price tries to fly on her broom and she is launched upwards and wipes-out on the floor, she is replaced by a very obvious and much younger stunt double.
Mr. Browne: Observe the fundamental weakness of the criminal mind. You will believe no one or anything.
Trivia: In a long shot of the crowd at the animated soccer game, look at the right hand side of the frame and you can see a bear wearing a Mickey Mouse T-shirt.
Question: Several times near the end of the movie, the German soldiers speak in German without subtitles. Can anyone translate?
Answer: I added some translations for this to the Trivia page for this movie here on moviemistakes.com a while back. https://www.moviemistakes.com/entry213396.
