Continuity mistake: When Deeds is eating cereal, he offers Emilio some, who refuses, then Deeds puts the cereal box back down, and the box front is facing the screen, but in the following shot the box is turned sideways. (00:42:00)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Deeds is rescuing "Pam" from the fake mugging, he catches up to the 'mugger', grabs him and throws him into a series of garbage cans sitting beside a building. While falling, he drops Pam's purse near where the garbage cans were sitting. But after Deeds finishes beating up the mugger, he picks up the purse, which has now mysteriously moved across the sidewalk in front of the cable barriers on the curb.

Continuity mistake: When Deeds is eating Cocoa Pebbles, Emilio walks in with some pie with whipped cream on the top. Moments later a large scoop of ice cream appears on the plate too. (00:41:00)

Continuity mistake: When Deeds enters the basketball stadium, in a closeup there is a man playing a violin. In the following wide shot though, he disappears, but he returns in the next shot, when Deeds walks past the old man, the two chefs, he then walks past the violin player. (01:04:25)

Audio problem: In Madison Square Garden, when "Pam" says "I can explain", she appears to be using her normal voice tone. But she apparently is heard loud and clear by everyone in the middle of the arena.

Continuity mistake: In the house with blue shutters and a red door in Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa, a little boy chokes on his gum. Pam starts hitting him on the back. They are standing on the landing by a banister with a pink and purple mat hanging over it. When Pam hits the boy's head on the banister, the mat is gone. Then when the boy spits out the gum, the mat has returned. (00:59:40)

Continuity mistake: In the scene at Madison Square Garden basketball arena, when Deeds is going to propose to Pam during a romantic dinner, the candles on the table constantly change lengths. At one point one of the candles appears to be half the size of the other, but later it is mysteriously longer and almost the same size. The candles should gradually grow shorter during the scene, not longer.

Revealing mistake: When the dog catches the cat, which bounces off the trampoline, it is blatantly obvious the dog in fact has a soft toy cat in his mouth. (00:50:05)

Continuity mistake: In Winchestertonfieldville Iowa, in the house with blue shutters and red door, Pam, Deeds and the three kids are upstairs. Two shots prior to the kid choking on his gum, on the table by the cupboard (the cupboard Pam said was her brother's room) the items move/appear and change. (00:59:25)

Continuity mistake: In the shareholder meeting, Chuck says "Blake media is no more" and is about to hit the gavel onto the lectern, when Pam/Babe walks in, and in a closeup of Chuck he holds the gavel up shoulder height. Yet in the following wideshot, he isn't holding it. (01:20:45)

Continuity mistake: In the restaurant, Deeds pushes the opera singer into a table. Between shots the mess around the table changes. In a closeup, there's plates of food/cake surrounding the table that weren't there in the previous wideshot, and the cloth and broken table changes too. (00:33:35)

Continuity mistake: When Deeds is talking to the pilot of the helicopter about football teams, you can see them start to fly over a bridge, then two cuts later, they fly over the same bridge.

Continuity mistake: When Chuck and Anderson first arrive at Mandrake Falls, the propeller of their plane is spinning around, yet in the next shot it has stopped. Although you can't see the actual propeller, this can easily be confirmed by the still shadow of the propellers. (00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: When Emilio finds out he is the rightful heir to $40 billion, he is standing at a wooden lectern, and he says to Deeds "And you, Long-Long-Longfellow..." and there is a shot of Emilio from behind, and there is nothing resting on the lectern, yet in the following wideshot, a gavel is laying on the lectern. Continuity mistake: When Chuck and Anderson first arrive at Mandrake Falls, Murph approaches them asking "Are you Guys lost?" After he asks this, between shots, the way Chuck's scarf is hanginag round his neck keeps changes. In one wideshot most of the purple side of the scarf is showing, yet in the next shot the red side of the scarf is only showing and the purple is all hidden etc. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: When Murph first meets Chuck and Anderson, he drops his toy plane on the grass. The toy plane appears in his hand near the end of their conversation. (00:05:10)

Factual error: When flying from Mandrake Falls to NYC they stop at a Wendy's; the commentary claims this is Danbury, CT. Actually it was in the small town of Carmel, NY, about 15 miles from Danbury.

Continuity mistake: When Emilio is telling Deeds that his mother died while giving birth, you see Emilio look down at the ground. The camera angle changes and he's now seen looking straight up at Deeds and then you see him looking down again. (00:41:55)
