Continuity mistake: When Jason is chasing Chris, Chris runs into a bedroom and onto a bed, and then grabs a chair to smash a window, and the chair flies out the window. However, when Chris falls out the window we see the chair again, however the chair is a totally different chair, as the spindles on the legs of the chair have totally changed, and the back to the chair is different. Continuity mistake: During the one brief scene where we see Jason unmasked at the end of Part 2 when he crashes through the window and grabs Ginny, we see Jason has at least a partial head of hair. In this film, however, he's completely bald.

Plot hole: We see Jason get his outfit from Harold's clothes line. Yet in Chris's flashback Jason has these same clothes already on.

Suggested correction: I went and looked at both Chris version of Jason and Jason in the recent Part III. The Part III Jason outfit in Chris version has a lot darker clothes. Same style, just darker. That type of clothing is very similar though.

Plot hole: Jason somehow manages to get Andy's dead body on the wooden ceiling rafter, with no blood dripping onto the hammock and staining it, or getting none onto the floor. Debbie then gets into the hammock, and about a minute later, blood starts dripping - for no apparent reason. Why?

Visible crew/equipment: When the kids first arrive at the camp, as the camera pans as the van pulls up you can see a little bit of a white screen, a small bit of the camera and the top of a crewmember. It's clearer in the blue strip of the van.

Other mistake: There's no way for Shelly to fit his masks, a speargun and other items in the small box.

Suggested correction: No, but we don't know exactly what he might have brought. The first time we see him they're picking up Vera, so it's most likely he brought another bag that could contain the items. He only said to Vera that the small bag was his whole world, but he just met her (Andy mentioned he got him a date for the trip) and he's trying to get her to warm up to him.

Revealing mistake: During the opening sequence involving Harold and the clothesline, there is a foreign object on the lens of the camera - noticeable in the bottom left corner in several shots.

Other mistake: When Harold is going "Number 2" on the toilet, you can hear his crap plopping into the toilet water. However when he is making his search in the bathroom, he walks by the toilet and there is nothing in it. The toilet is clean. He never flushes it before making his search.

Other mistake: On the back cover of the DVD it says "An idyllic summer turns into a nightmare of unspeakable terror for yet another group of naive counselors." The cast of this film are Chris's friends, not camp counselors.

Revealing mistake: When Debbie is stabbed in the chest in the hammock, when the knife comes through you can see it's a fake chest made of rubber material.

Chuck: How come you never scream when we have sex?
Chili: Give me something to scream about.

More trivia for Friday the 13th Part 3: 3D

Question: This makes no sense at all to me. Exactly how did Chris survive her very first encounter with Jason? She tells Rick about how he grabbed her by the ankles and was dragging her off when she fainted from fear and then woke up in her room at home. What exactly happened in the time in between? It's been mentioned that Jason raped Chris after dragging her away or at least he attempted to rape her. The Jason character does not rape. Period. Are we really supposed to believe that the murderous Jason just suddenly felt bad for her and brought her back to her home of his own free will? (00:48:30 - 00:51:45)

Chosen answer: Chris never said anything about rape. As for what happened to her, no one really knows. Maybe she reminds Jason of his mother like in the new Friday the 13th movie.
