Deliberate mistake: After Chris gets stuck on the bridge and is trying to restart the van, a shot out the back window shows Jason running towards the van. He is badly limping and holding his knee because Chris just stabbed him in the knee. In the next scene, when Jason is chasing Chris away from the van, and for the remainder of the movie, Jason no longer limps. He walks and runs normally.
Friday the 13th Part 3: 3D (1982)
1 deliberate mistake
Directed by: Steve Miner
Starring: Dana Kimmell, Paul Kratka, Richard Brooker, Tracie Savage
Genres: Horror
Plot hole: We see Jason get his outfit from Harold's clothes line. Yet in Chris's flashback Jason has these same clothes already on.
Suggested correction: I went and looked at both Chris version of Jason and Jason in the recent Part III. The Part III Jason outfit in Chris version has a lot darker clothes. Same style, just darker. That type of clothing is very similar though.
Chuck: How come you never scream when we have sex?
Chili: Give me something to scream about.
Trivia: This is the first film to show Jason in his famed hockey mask, which he would wear from this sequel on.
Question: This makes no sense at all to me. Exactly how did Chris survive her very first encounter with Jason? She tells Rick about how he grabbed her by the ankles and was dragging her off when she fainted from fear and then woke up in her room at home. What exactly happened in the time in between? It's been mentioned that Jason raped Chris after dragging her away or at least he attempted to rape her. The Jason character does not rape. Period. Are we really supposed to believe that the murderous Jason just suddenly felt bad for her and brought her back to her home of his own free will? (00:48:30 - 00:51:45)
Chosen answer: Chris never said anything about rape. As for what happened to her, no one really knows. Maybe she reminds Jason of his mother like in the new Friday the 13th movie.
