Other mistake: In the scene where Charlotte is in the bathroom and Chuck is trying to get her to come to bed, there is a shot of an alarm clock on a shelf above the bed. The time at the beginning of the scene is 1:03. The time never changes throughout the scene, even after Chuck goes to close the drapes and check the apartment. The clock is obviously a prop and is not plugged in.
Night Shift (1982)
1 other mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Ron Howard
Starring: Michael Keaton, Henry Winkler, Shelley Long, Gina Hecht
Genres: Comedy
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Chuck finds Bill in the morgue vault listening to the recording of Chuck telling him to shut up, take note of Bill's thumb on the rewind button of the tape recorder. You can hear the tape recorder rewinding to replay the words, "Chuck to remind Bill to SHUT UP" multiple times but Bill's thumb does not move at all until he turns the recorder off. (00:30:00)
Chuck: Bill, let me try to explain this to you. As we sit here and idly chat, there are women, female human beings, rolling around in strange beds with strange men and we are making money from that.
Bill: Is this a great country or what?!
Trivia: The annoying saxaphone player on the subway when Henry Winkler writes him a check is Ron Howard, the director.
