Corrected entry: Clint Eastwood places his film stock in the refrigerator 39 minutes in. The film rolls come in shrink-wrapped cases - technology not used in the 50's.

Correction: The love affair is set in 1965, not the "50's"

Corrected entry: The red truck is shown to have 1991 license plates, although the film is set in the 1960's. Also near the end, when Meryl Streep is riding in her husband's truck through town, many modern cars are seen in the background through the truck window.

Correction: There's a clear shot of the plate where you can see "65" in the corner for the year. The left side reads "61", but that's the pattern, not the issue year. The plate looks to be "562S7." 1991 used the ABC-123 pattern. Although I don't think 1965 used letters, but I can't be certain.

Correction: I watched the movie online. As far as the scene where Streep is with her husband in their truck, all the vehicles seen in the background are from the 50's to the mid-60's. I didn't see one modern one.

Correction: She doesn't remove it twice. She takes it out and keeps it tucked in her palm while looking at Robert's book, then removes her glasses. When she goes to put her glasses back on, the envelope is still in her hand, tipping downward. She slightly shakes the glasses once to flip open one arm that is folded down so she can put them back on, although it looks like she's shaking something out of the envelope, but she is not. The cross is still in her hand the entire time.

Correction: Thermador invented the first self-cleaning oven in 1963 while the film is set in 1965.

Factual error: Not only is the tractor the wrong vintage, it is pulling a round baler that wasn't invented until the 1970's.

Francesca: And in that moment, everything I knew to be true about myself up until then was gone. I was acting like another woman, yet I was more myself than ever before.
