Character mistake: When Trish's car stops running, Tommy states that its the solenoid that is the issue. A starter solenoid is responsible for sending voltage to the starter when the ignition is engaged. 1st problem: The car would not stumble and stall because of a faulty solenoid. 2nd problem: The starter was already engaging while Trish was hitting the key. So bridging the solenoid was pointless. The only reason to bridge a solenoid is to create a connection from 12 volt to the starter when the internal system is compromised due to wear. But that wasn't the case because when she was trying to start it, the starter was turning the engine. Plus the solenoid has nothing to due with the way an engine will perform (running, misfiring, not running).

Jimmy: Ted. I think... I think when we get to town I should call Betty.
Ted: Jimbo, calling Betty is definitely a dead fuck thing to do. Look, first rule of love: never get rejected by the same girl twice. I mean, that's useless. If you want to make a fool out of yourself, always do it with someone new.
Jimmy: I don't know anyone new.
Ted: Well, sex is a great way to meet them.
Trivia: When Judie Aronson, who plays Samantha, was filming the scene in the raft where she gets killed, they were doing so many takes. She was wet and cold and wanted to warm up. The director refused until he got the shot he wanted which made Judie cry and freak out. Ted White, who played Jason, was so upset about this that he demanded they get her a blanket and let her get warmed up or he would walk off the set and not come back. Needless to say, Judie got warmed up very quickly.
