Continuity mistake: When Sam gets into an argument with Jake's acting teacher, he is standing by a row of three empty chairs. As he leaves, he picks up a bag from the center chair. (00:14:05)
Other mistake: When Jake picks up Gloria's driver's license in the tunnel after it has spilled out of her pocket book, it can be seen that the area on the license where all of her personal information (e.g., Date of Birth, Height, Eye Color) should be listed under her name and address is blank. Audio problem: Melanie Griffith's mic goes out a little in this scene when she says, "And you need professional helpÂ… yelled at." (01:31:20)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film the hero follows the bad guy into a reservoir. When he gets there, the bad guy has dug a very deep hole in the ground in which he wants to bury the girl. But the bad guy arrived only two minutes or so before the hero and didn't have the time to dig a hole of that size.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, Jake is pursuing the Indian. Jake jumps onto a large water pipe, wearing white sneakers. In previous scenes he was wearing cowboy boots that matched his rust colored leather jacket.
