Other mistake: When Ace is dancing with the unconscious Monopoly Guy, you see a shot of the woman with the fur scarf near the bottom of the stairs. But, when Ace turns around near the bottom of the stairs, she is not there. It might be hard to see, but she was there, the guy on Ace's shoulders would've hit her.
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995)
1 suggested correction
Directed by: Steve Oedekerk
Starring: Jim Carrey, Ian McNeice, Simon Callow, Maynard Eziashi
Visible crew/equipment: In one scene Ace is drumming large mushrooms supposedly growing on the side of a tree. When Ace knocks only one off (the very last mushroom, he hits it off the tree completely and you see) a metal spike that held all the mushroom props in place visible on the tree.
Trivia: Until Dumb and Dumber To, this was the only sequel Jim Carrey ever did to one of his own movies. He doesn't like to do sequels but did this one due to popular demand.
Question: Why did Ace punch out the Monopoly guy? Is there a reason why he did such a thing?
Answer: The woman told him to try and "enjoy the fruits of nature", meaning wearing an animal as a piece of clothing. So he punches the monopoly guy out cold and puts him over his shoulder to try out wearing an animal.
