Plot hole: Mannie gives his boss the money in time minus the amount the homeless man used. What's to say he won't come looking for him later upon discovering the amount gone, see Lola's casino winnings, think his employee ripped him off then kill both of them before taking the money?
Suggested correction: The money that the homeless spent is not that significant. He can make up that amount by himself.
Revealing mistake: When there is a car crash, and a motorcyclist flies over one of the cars, as he rolls towards the windshield we see the whole windshield intact. Then when the motorcyclist rolls and hits the windshield, large cracks are clearly visible, way before the man hits the glass. (01:00:30)

Trivia: I always thought it was very funny that the boyfriend in need of money is actually called Mannie.Then of course it's also funny that the running girl's name is Potente and the faithful boyfriend is played by (Moritz) Bleibtreu =stay true/faithful. And these are the actors' real names.
Question: I don't understand the scene in the casino. She screams and the roulette ball hits her number. What happened here?
Chosen answer: In the casino scene, Lola breaks the "rules" several times. She doesn't have enough money for a 100 mark chip, she defies the dress code, and the scream is a manifestation of her willpower overriding the laws of chance and probability itself to make the ball land on the number 20 twice in a row.
