Continuity mistake: When David is in the steam bath, his hair is messed up. A shot later, it's neatly brushed backwards.
Character mistake: When David and Nick meet at the bar, a woman can't help but stare at the camera twice.
Continuity mistake: When the avalanche crashes against the cafeteria building, there's a man next to the windows wearing a white shirt. When the shot changes, he's got a brown jacket.
Continuity mistake: When David arrives to save Caroline who's hanging off the broken bridge railing, in the wide angles her feet are dangling and her arms are stretched, while she is struggling for her life. However when David looks at her, her arms and legs are bent and she seems to be safely sitting. Seemingly some sort of safety chair.
Continuity mistake: The editing of the ski jumping competition is a disaster movie in itself: first we see #35 jumping and wearing a helmet while wearing a red and blue suit. Then comes #6, who starts to ski wearing a helmet and a marine blue suit, but when he jumps it's skier #35 again but now his helmet is gone. Now comes a new skier, #26, wearing a dark blue suit. When he picks up speed he is suddenly no-helmet #35 and -drumroll - when he jumps he's now yet a new skier, #27.
Revealing mistake: When the father and son climb out of the chairlift and hold on for their lives, the kid is very obviously replaced with a grown-up stunt.
Continuity mistake: After the kid jumps, when his dad is about to jump, he is holding the chairlift's iron bar, but in the immediate close-up he is holding the upper cable.
Deliberate mistake: When the father jumps on the firemen's jumping sheet, one can see that he's very few centimetres away from safely landing on it. However, in the immediate close-up he crashes against the floor, which is more dramatic, but ludicrous nonetheless.
Visible crew/equipment: During the snow bike race, the pole where the camera is mounted is reflected on the woman's helmet.
Revealing mistake: When Caroline (Mia Farrow) is hanging off the broken bridge railing, in the wide angles she is replaced by an obvious stunt. Furthermore, when David rescues her, the stunt woman is always acting calmed and natural, even helping David, as opposed to the close-ups of Farrow, nervous and trembling.
Revealing mistake: After the birthday dinner and dance, the exterior shots of snow falling show the snow being sprayed from a lower point on the right side of the screen. Shot changes and now it's being sprayed from somewhere behind the bleachers.
Visible crew/equipment: When David and Caroline step outside the disco and argue, a stage light is reflected on the glass door behind.
