Other mistake: Right before the "Y" in the road, it could be seen that Richard's speedometer was pointing to the far left, indicating that he was driving at a low speed, such as 5 - 10 MPH. When Richard was looking at the damage to the car, he said, "Smashed headlights, smashed bumper. Must have been going at a fair clip." Deliberate mistake: David and Jo, each wearing sunglasses, are riding in the boat. When David says, "L'Afrique", buildings along the upcoming shore are reflected in his sunglasses. The camera shifts to Jo, also facing the shore, and buildings with more lights are reflected in her sunglasses. The camera then shifts to a rear view of David and Jo and it is obvious that what was reflected in their sunglasses was not possible. (00:01:40)
