Revealing mistake: During the final showdown, where the Creeper is holding Darry hostage, as the camera zooms in towards the Creeper's face when it is screaming intensely, you can see the nose and teeth of the actor underneath the make-up/suit.

Other mistake: When Darry is in the basement under the church, Darry is laying on the floor surrounded by a circle of sunlight appearing through the pipe. Then follows a series of cuts between Trish at the open end of the pipe, and Darry. Why do we not see a silhouette of Trish on the floor rather than a perfect circle of light?

Question: Where would the monster get the fuel for his vehicle? Surely he wouldn't be fueling up at the gas stations.

Answer: There's no reason he couldn't use a gas station. In the dark he just looks like a guy with dark skin, unkempt hair, and a trench coat. Even if somebody does get close enough to get a good look at him, he would easily kill them to keep his secret.
