Continuity mistake: When Vera and David find the old camera and video tapes, David picks up the camera briefly before putting it back down. When he puts it back down, he places his thumb on top of it. In the next shot, his thumb is away from the top and along the side. (00:16:56)
Continuity mistake: Whilst Vera is washing her hands, after she says "So you're lucky" to the surgeon, she is shown lowering her hand. In the next shot, her hand is raised again. (00:13:20)
Audio problem: When Vera is speaking with the surgeon as she is washing her hands, whilst she asks "What happened with Ms Blanco", the camera switches angles mid-sentence to focus on the surgeon, and her mouth cannot be seen moving during the last part of the line. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: When Vera and her daughter are in bed, just as Vera says "You've only been here one night", the daughter has her hand placed against Vera's chest. The shot cuts to the daughter and isn't shown moving, but when it cuts back, her hand has suddenly moved an inch or two to the left. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: When Vera wakes up next to her daughter, there is nothing shown in her daughter's hand. When Vera goes to wake her up a second later, Vera's hand and the girl's hand are suddenly touching. (00:08:12)
Audio problem: When Nico goes to Angel's house, he is confronted by a dog barking at him. The dog is shown aggressively moving its head up and down whilst the camera is focused on it. The camera then cuts to focus on Nico, where the aggressive barking is still heard, but the dog is standing completely still. The dog couldn't have been barking that aggressively if it were standing still; the barks were likely dubbed in. (00:05:12)
Other mistake: When Clara pulls the knife out of Hilda after stabbing her, in the shot of Hilda falling over the staircase, no blood can be seen on the knife. But every other time the knife is shown, there is blood on it. (01:30:53)
Other mistake: When Vera finds the Mirage book in the library, the publication year for that print of the book is listed as 2017, but the movie takes place in 2014. (01:10:38)
Other mistake: When Vera returns to her house, a calendar with 2017 listed as the year can be seen on the wall. The present-day scenes take place in 2014, so there shouldn't be any reason for anyone to have a 2017 calendar. (00:56:55)
