Continuity mistake: After David has shown Vera all their memories together, and he says "Do you remember me now", the camera cuts to Vera and their hands are positioned to be almost level with their faces. In the next shot, their hands are suddenly lowered away from their faces. (01:49:28)
Deliberate mistake: When Nico breaks the window in the door to Angel's kitchen, the entire window is broken, aside from one large piece of glass along the bottom of the window frame. When Angel finds the broken window later in the movie, the damage to the window has changed; there are now various pieces of glass around the frame. (00:49:50 - 01:35:13)
Audio problem: When Angel goes to check the side of the house after hearing the dog barking, in the shot behind Angel, the dog can be seen in the background of the shot. The dog can be seen moving its head up and down every time it barks, but during the last bark of the shot, the dog's head remains completely still, revealing that the last bark was dubbed in. Continuity mistake: When Clara looks over the staircase after Hilda falls over it, in the above shot, the knife she is holding can be seen going over the staircase. When the camera changes angles, the knife has yet to go over the staircase. (01:30:57)
Deliberate mistake: When Nico finds Hilda's body at the start of the movie, her left arm is shown next to her body, and her right arm is outstretched. When her death is shown later in the movie, both arms are outstretched when she lands on the floor. (00:05:50 - 01:30:55)
Continuity mistake: Whilst Clara is being attacked by Hilda, Clara picks up the knife. Angel tries to pull Hilda away and in doing so also lifts up Clara. When this happens, the knife Clara is holding is held sideways, but in the next shot, the knife is held upright. (01:30:40)
Continuity mistake: Vera looks at her watch and sees there is only nine hours and 27 minutes left. She has two fingers placed against the top of the watch in the close-up shot, but when the camera cuts back to Vera, she only has one finger pressed against it. (01:19:50)
Continuity mistake: When Ursula is calling the police, when she says "Ursula Abad", she is turned away from Vera and David. When the shot cuts back to David, Ursula can be seen in the background with her head turned toward them. (00:58:40)
Revealing mistake: Vera types "Nico Lasarte - Murdered - 1989" into a web browser. When she clicks the search button and the screen changes to list the search results, Vera's position in the frame can be seen shifting on-screen, revealing that the shot of the search bar and the shot of the search results were two separate shots merged together. Other mistake: Vera goes into the attic and finds a computer. She opens the web browser, but when she begins to start typing, we can see that the search bar already has text typed into it. (00:57:17)
Visible crew/equipment: When Nico is walking through Angel's house after breaking in, he begins walking up the staircase. The shot cuts to an angle behind him and the shadow of the camera can be seen cast on his back for a brief moment just as the shot starts. (00:50:26)
Continuity mistake: When Vera is holding her hospital ID, her left hand is touching the top left-hand corner. In the next shot, her left hand is touching the bottom left-hand corner. (00:46:20)
Continuity mistake: When Vera is shown David's file by the doctor, whilst he says "You extracted a meningioma from his brain", she scratches the side of her head with her left hand and some hair is showing sticking up after doing so. Continuity mistake: When Nico hears the television whilst drawing Vera's face, he picks up the drawing and goes to the television. When he stands up, he is holding the drawing so that his right hand is positioned toward the bottom of the right-hand side of the page. Continuity mistake: When Vera is in David's office, after she says "Gloria is our daughter", the shot cuts to David for a brief moment. The shot then cuts to Vera and her left hand is suddenly touching the side of her head, which she was not doing in the previous shot. (00:37:45)
Continuity mistake: Vera opens a tape case in a position where the tape is on the left-hand side. The shot then cuts and the case has rotated with the tape now being on the right-side of the case. (00:26:55)
Continuity mistake: When Vera wakes up in the middle of the night, she switches on a light and goes to sit up. In the first shot, her hair is shown over the side of her shoulder and going onto her arm. The camera changes angles and her hair is suddenly in front of her shoulder. (00:25:20)
Continuity mistake: When David is explaining to Vera where the matches came from, in the shot of him saying "I promise. Let's do something", Vera is holding David's trousers in her hands. David then goes to take the matches off her and the trousers are now over her left arm. (00:24:14)
