Audio problem: When Sarah's mother is on the phone with her husband, she says, "I'm worried Dave, the fever's gone from 101 to 104," yet her mouth doesn't move. (00:02:30)
Children of the Corn (1984)
1 audio problem - chronological order
Directed by: Fritz Kiersch
Starring: Linda Hamilton, R.G. Armstrong, Peter Horton, John Franklin
Visible crew/equipment: When the two lead characters pull up to a stop in the car, the shot is dead-on from the driver's side, and you can clearly see the entire camera crew reflected in the side of the car. (00:30:10)
Job: Don't worry, Mister. You'll be safe here. Isaac and Malachai don't know about this place.
Burt Robeson: Enough! Who are Isaac and Malachai?
Job: Isaac started the whole thing. He's a boy preacher who came to this town three years ago. At nine-years-old back then, he had a charming way that appealed to all the kids and teens like us to follow him with his own teachings of the bible and of the Old Testiment. But me and Sarah thought he was just plain weird.
Trivia: John Franklin, who plays the villainous Isaac, was actually a full-grown man in his mid-20s. He had a growth hormone deficiency when he was growing up, and as a result, he never grew taller than 5' and had a slightly lighter voice. This made him perfect for the role as he looked and sounded the part, and also didn't have to deal with the restrictions that come with child labour laws.
